Dec 4, 2011: As the Clock ticks today for the Bowl line up, I always wonder, how can the only Listed Sports Super Genius get a vote or be in the room when they hash this out. My biggest issue with all of this mess, is the lack of direct competition that each of these new super leagues play each other. Why is it that the Big East a few years ago, was the BCS Bowl Games leader, now if another team is ranked higher than the Big East Winner, the Big East will not go to the BCS Bowls? So that move saves TCU or Boise State or even Houston if they maintain a higher rank. The Super Leagues are in a all out blitz to grab everyone and anyone. Like Missouri for example. They are OK year in and year out in Basketball but in football and baseball, why would the SEC want them? They have had some good years but to make the SEC a better conference? And what are they thinking, if the SEC has the best teams, why would a team want to go into this league just to be a doormat? Does CBS pay that much to show their games? We will see, in a few short hours, I will have the bowl games, for us to say good job, or a major complaint!

Amazing just a few short months ago, Penn State was looking to win the Big 10 Championship, and now scandal. Oklahoma was on pace to play LSU or Alabama in the National Championship. While the NBA is on course, to settle maybe? Today, Penn State is rocked by scandal, while who knows if Joe was involved or not. The SEC is trying to make a case that they are the only schools to play for the National Championship, while others struggle, Alabama looks poised to go to the game if LSU wins out. Thanksgiving used to be about football, family, food and festivals of activities. Today, it is Occupy Wall Street, job layoffs, gas prices, rise in food prices, greed in sports, and now scandal. But today, lets all go back to the grass roots of Thanksgiving, lets give thanks! Our year, is thankful for friends, reuniting of new friends and the thankful thought of just being healthy, and ready, ready to face this world and lets change it, so when our kids are ready, they can just relax. We have enough stress. Just relax today! Its Thanksgiving!

I was a Raider season ticket holder, I have to say this. The Raiders and its fans have a over hyped image. The Fans of the Black Hole, who I think have been dressing longer than Comic Con, needs to maintain their image and people who have been around them have seen them in their true nature, a hard core fan. We are talking about a large group of fans, die Hard Raiders Fans, who allowed Brett Favre to do the Lambeau Leap, and the Pack was blowing out the Raiders that night, Brett's father passed away. Fans have never supported the Raiders, a few short miles away with the shadow's of Montana to Clark, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, 5 Super Bowl wins, stands another team. But going to a Raider Game, hearing Autumn wind, reading the only Game Day that says: Raider Game Day, all in black, and myself too dawning a Bo Jackson Jersey! Reading that no body except the Texans has a winning record against them, makes your heart stop. Reason why fans can not go to the game vs sold out. The Raider fan are working fan base, and money to by tickets, unlike the 49er's, is a little harder to come by. See in the Bay Area, the rich and mighty have the 49er Jacket, sweater, pants, sport glasses. A Raider fan is allowed to wear his legends jersey on Friday and no other day. The Boss wont let him. Raider fans are the normal people, the 99%, who cant afford to go. But as Al Davis proved, the Raiders fans, in the top five of hard core fans, Yankee's, Red Sox, Cubs, Raiders, Lakers. Fans loyal to the core. Want proof, research sporting items sales. First team to use, Raider "NATION" is strong. But when the Raiders win on this season, you will see the Fans figure out a way to come to the stadium, for Al, as the Raider Fan loved Al Davis. They will go, and so will the Past Raider Legends will be there as they mostly are week in and week out. Al took care of those who took care of him. People said he was a rotten owner, got into business of the Head Coach by forcing the loyal Raiders on the staff. You know what an employee base would say to a owner like that, one that takes care of his employees? A great owner.

I do not thing they need to change to increase ticket sales, but the opposite. They need to advertise the greatest fan base in all of sports. The Silver and Black is Back. The fans of the Silver and Black will be back, and so will this fan from 3000 miles away, the Raiders Fans have the greatest team of all of Football, in this Autumn’s wind, the Oakland Raiders.
